The Order of the Good Death
The Order of the Good Death is a nonprofit organization of funeral industry professionals, academics, and artists exploring ways to prepare a death phobic culture for their inevitable mortality.
Founded by mortician, author and host of Ask A Mortician, Caitlin Doughty in 2011, The Order has now grown to be a recognized leader in the Death Positive Movement. The Order is run by Caitlin and executive director, Sarah Troop and includes Undertaking LA and Death Salon.

Hallo and velcome to DEATHub. The place where we can talk about fun topics surrounding death. I’m a funeral director and a blogger / writer (I run the “Confessions of a Funeral Director” Facebook page and the website under my name, www.CalebWilde.com).
It’s occurred to me that we want to talk about death, but it’s difficult for a number of reasons. Death is isolating. It’s vulnerable. It’s hard to put into words. And it’s too often filled with cliches that stop conversations before the conversation even gets started.
This is a space for those of us that want to talk about death without superficial cliches. It’s a place for death sharing. It’s a place that’s accepting of all experiences, perspectives and mystical creatures. It’s not a place for assholes, cliche mongers and those who like to judge.
