The bright orb creeps over the mountain
And suddenly the snow is revealed
Like a sea of diamonds cast
Upon a bed of smooth white satin.
A glittering waltz to the music of the sun
As it slowly but inexorably
Glides through the azure skies
Travelling along its ordained path.
Aimend thank you for this day
For blessing us with this scene
And giving to the world around
An eternal memory of this time.
