ADF Website Migration Release Notes

Here you can find an ongoing log of the major changes made to the ADF Website.

Groups are not implemented on the new site yet
Grove search does not work. For better grove listings, check out the current ADF website.
Mother Grove meeting minutes are not updated. See the current site for these.

Once the forums are fixed, the next major update will include subgroups and allow members to join subgroups and include links to forums
We are working out bugs on the new Study Program LMS and the Organizational Review team is reviewing the existing format.
Once these are migrated, we will migrate the Membership Processing and be fully moved over!

Update 2023.10.28

Key changes for this update include:

New Forums. We replaced the old forums with one that works! We have installed a basic version – expect updates as we improve it.
- You can see the link on the bar at the top of the page once you’ve logged in.
- The forum covers some basic forums, all sigs, guilds, kins, and orders, and the study programs
Updated the member search and profile pages to show emails if the member chooses to share their email. NOTE: This is set to no by default. Set it by editing your profile.
Clergy’s legal names are now displayed on the website with their display name in brackets.
New and renewed members are updated through Oct 28, 2023

Key changes for this update include:

ADF Consent Culture course is now on the new site. Go to the all courses page to see it.
Moved the Article & Ritual pages links to the side menu
Added the Blog link to the top menu. To see how you can help and contribute, email blog@adf.org
You will now get an email when the web team updates your account or membership on the new site
Added the Blog Editors option to the Help Desk form
New and renewed members are updated through Oct 22, 2023

Key Updates:

General content updates to add categories and authors to pages
Updated new/renewed members up through Sept 22, 2023
Updated Member Search to allow for search by Display Name, Username, ADF Member ID, and Email. Search returns Display Name (with profile link) and ADF Member ID. You can find the search in the users menu under your profile photo.
Author Bios migrated to the new website. Edit your bio or display name through the “Edit your Profile” option under your avatar.
There is now a “Submit Update” button in the page footer so it’s available even if the side menu is not visible
Updated MG Announcements through the most current meeting notes
Combined multiple communication pages into one. There is a members only section that is only visible if you’re logged in on a member account.
Menu Changes:
- Moved the login/logout to the top menu to make it easier to find on a mobile device
- Updapted Member Search to the User Profile menu
- Moved regions to the side menu

Key Updates

Dedicants Manual – includes links to Audio, EZReader, mobi, ePub, and downloadable PDF. Find more info on the Dedicants Path.
Core Order of Ritual Tutorial – NOTE: some of the resource links are broken
Additional changes update categories and authors in pages
Members will now get an email when they submit an update request
